F18 European Tour 2026
Racing Format
- The tour consists of four acts, spread out over the year.
- Duration: 3 to 4 days (1 arrival/inspection day + 3 racing days).
- Courses: Olympic-style (windward–leeward or triangle).
- Number of races: minimum 3 per day if conditions allow.
- Expected fleet: 40 to 50 F18 boats.
- Scoring: For the overall European Tour ranking, the three best scored acts of each boat will count.
Crew Consistency and General Ranking Eligibility
At registration, each team must declare a reference crew for the season, consisting of a helmsman, a crew member, and the boat name (as listed in the official entry).
To be eligible for the overall ranking, teams must:
- Participate in at least three of the four events of the Tour.
- Sail in at least two events with the full reference crew (same helmsman, same crew member, same boat name).
- The third counted event may be raced with a modified lineup, provided that at least one member of the reference crew is present and that the boat name remains Unchanged.
This rule ensures a minimum level of consistency, while allowing for reasonable flexibility in case of unforeseen circumstances.
